The Fleet Foxes self-titled debut album is a rarity, a pop album that manages to be genuinely innovative while still proudly displaying it's influences. Hints of folk, rock & roll and even surfer-boy harmonies merge in this musically nimble album. Deft guitar plucking and and rich, warm organs combine with beautiful harmonies and simple percussion to make one of the prettiest and most engaging albums of the year.
